An Interview with Sue Fleming of Buff Brides

www.buffbrides.com

Sharon: What was your motivation for writing this book?

Sue: Well, I am a personal trainer, and at one point, it seemed as if all of my clients were brides to be. It was like five or six months before their wedding, and they were all saying, “help me!” They wanted to lose ten or more pounds. I did a little research, and I realized that this was the number one concern for women on their wedding day. Women want to look good on their big day, since it is the single most important day of their life.

Sharon: What is the commitment that a bride has to make for this program to work?

Sue: They have to give it at least six months before they will see results.

Sharon: There is a health craze going on now. What do you want people to be aware of as far as the facts?

Sue: It is so interesting now with the new guidelines, and they all say to incorporate a balanced workout and a balanced diet.

Sharon: What about plastic surgery?

Sue: Forget about it! People like instant gratification, but that weight just comes back. I know people who have had surgery, and they end up coming back to me anyway.

Sharon: Can I lift my butt through working out?

Sue: You are dealt a set of cards in life, and you have to work with what you are given. Anything is possible when you are working out regularly.

Sharon: Women have issues with losing weight in areas where they don’t want to lose.

Sue: Well, that is one of the points of this book. You can improve those problem areas that we all have through working out.
